The San Diego Dance Camp Offers a New Years Eve Extravaganza and Dance Showcase

Worldwde dance champion Ron Montez, co-host of the popular PBS series "Championship Ballroom Dancing" is producing a New Years Eve Extravaganza in San Diego. The new hit movie "Shall We Dance" is sparking lots of interest and Montez and a dozen champion professionals will coach and perform at the San Diego Dance Camp.

October 19, 2004 -- Ron Montez co-host of the popular PBS series Championship Ballroom Dancing expects a surge of interest from the hit movie Shall We Dance starring Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Susan Sarandon, and Stanley Tucci.

Dance Camps all across the country are expected to be sold-out as the craze for ballroom dancing peaks once the movie is released in mid October. The San Diego Dance Camp will be held at San Diegos Red Lion Hanalei Hotel from December 28 through December 31. The public is invited to attend the entire Dance Camp or just celebrate with a New Years Extravaganza and bash.

Ron and his wife and dance partner Karla along with ten or more World Class dance professionals from all across the country will share their skills with attendees of the San Diego Dance Camp. There will be over fifty beginning and advanced instruction classes and lectures covering both American and International dance styles.

Ron Montez dancing skills earned him seven consecutive United States Latin Championship titles. He is one of the countrys most respected people in the dance business as a dancer, choreographer, coach, and judge. Montez likes to point out, Ballroom dancing is healthy you learn cooperation and you get exercise.

The Dance Camp is available as a package including four nights at the Red Lion Hanalei Hotel, two dinners, breakfasts and attendance at any or all classes and lectures. The New Years Eve dinner party and professional showcase spectacular is included as well. The package price is $895.00.
